If you want to contribute, first you have to REGISTER (see CREATE AN ACCOUNT link at left). When you register and LOGIN, you will see a USER MENU on the left side of your screen. The USER MENU will have a link that lets you submit an article.

If you already registered and clicked "Submit an Article" and you got the "FORBIDDEN" screen, you're probably wondering why.

Filthyliberals.com welcomes all writers who would like to combat the conservative, right-wing scourge that threatens the USA. The threat takes the form of misinformation, distortion, and out-right lies. The right has a very powerful machine composed of Fox News, AM radio hatriot commentators, pundits and blowhards, and their willfully misinformed base of conservative supporters who want a spoon fed education. One defense against the multimillion dollar propaganda machine takes the form of up front, truthful, and hopefully entertaining, informational counter attacks. We can't do it alone. Won't you lend a hand?

Contact us at contact @ filthyliberal.com (you can use the contact link on the main menu, at left) and request AUTHOR status if you would like to contribute. We will review your email and assign you the necessary rights so you can submit an article. Then you can click the "Submit an Article" link in the user menu and it won't kick you out. Keep in mind the article should be in the "tone" of this site, and MUST be factual, truthful, include cites where someone might argue, and hopefully will be well constructed and entertaining to read. Primarily we want truth and logic, and direct counter-attacks on the lies spread by the rightwing. This target changes all the time. Keep in mind your article will be searchable using any public search engine (like Google) and reflect upon the site owners, so we will out of necessity review your article before we publish it and decide if it fits and won't result in our asses landing in court somewhere. No threats, no criminal activity, etc., please.

Use your own name or a fake name. You can suggest a category when you submit but we may change it so don't worry about that. Likewise we may scan through the grammar and perform a repair if we see something that detracts from your article (typos, mispelled words, that kind of thing).

Since this is a new function of filthyliberal.com, the form we are using for submission may change as we hammer out problems so if you see a field that doesn't make any sense please just ignore it. We also urge you to keep a backup copy (cut-and-paste it) on your local computer in .txt format for your own records, since due to the attention of hackers and such we may lose an article from time to time (hasn't happened yet but you never know).  We are NOT a repository for articles so we make no guarantee that in the future you may be able to contact us for a download copy (if it's gone, it's gone), so if you like what you write keep a copy.

Lastly, we know people change their minds. If you post an article and we publish it and you later decide you don't want us to use it just email us and tell us. We'll be glad to comply with your wishes, no matter what the reason.
