Recently we've noticed an allegation in one of the article threads here that we decided to bump up to top level. I decided to make it a front page piece for a time.
In one of the articles on this site a conservative poster warned another conservative poster to be careful of misspelled words and bad grammar for fear that some of the more liberal posters here would attack them for their mistakes. We've examined the threads to double-check this, even if we were all sure this was an error. The accusation seems a little trivial, but it is completely untrue. Aside from a couple of instances in the many misspelled and poorly crafted posts from the conservatives who wander in here, it does not generally happen. Let me tell you all why Filthy Liberal doesn't "go after" anyone with a poorly spelled word, etc. I have a feeling many other liberal posters view this the same as us. To state it simply, We Don't Care.
Bad spelling? Bad grammar? That possibly shows a person is posting from a lousy mobile device, or they have vision problems or mobility issues. On the other hand, what if they are conservative and honestly don't know how to spell certain words or make grammatically correct sentences? Again, we don't care. Why?
Your misspelled sentences and other errors indicate a failing, true, but that is nothing compared to your other failing, as indicated by your abusive and anti-American philosophy you claim to follow. That failing is one of humanity. That, sir or madam, damns you much further and more soundly than any misspelled word or incomplete sentence ever will.
