Myth - Voter Fraud is Rampant
Massive voter fraud. By now you've heard it. Always from a crazed right winger with the unspoken accusation that this "massive voter fraud conducted by Democrats" was the only reason the Pres. Obama got elected. This is of course utter hogwash. But the unwashed Republican supporter, frothing at the mouth, filled with Fox News hate and fear, will assert over and over that this is true.
It's not. The actual cases of voter fraud that have been recorded in this nation of ours is very very low. Chicanery does happen, often at local levels, and when it does it's usually by a partisan working for the election committee. Media Matters has done a great job blowing up this rumor, and here's a great link.
