Filthy Liberals

I recently encountered a fellow liberal who had the nerve, the NERVE I say, to take me to task for how I speak to conservatives. According to this high minded liberal, but not treating conservative viewpoints with civility and respect I was damaging "the cause", which I assume is the liberal "brand". I thought about this, and I decided I should put this in writing so it's out there for the world to see, so conservatives AND liberals know without a doubt WHY I treat dingleberries hanging about my anus with greater respect and mercy than use when I reply to conservatives on facebook or other places.

First of all, civil discourse has already been tried for several decades. As we can clearly see, it hasn't helped the liberal "brand". In fact I could easily make an argument that such civility has encouraged conservatives to treat liberals even worse, since they assume we won't fight back. Therefore you can see the track record for using civil discourse with conservatives is abysmal.

Second, to treat them in a civil manner means at some level you respect them. It means that at some level, you believe they are making an intelligent comment based upon some kind of intelligence they are exercising. Really?

Do they believe trickle-down economics works? If not I want them to say they were wrong before I get civil.

Do they believe that tax cuts to the wealthiest people help the poor and middle income earners? I want them to tell me no, it doesn' work like we though it would.

Do they think that corporate welfare is something you can ignore because giving welfare to STARVING American children and the elderly is a bigger moral and ethical problem? I want them to admit their priorities are wrong.

Do they think that our corporate for-profit healthcare system is the best in the world and HCR is a horrific, socialist experiment that will destroy our "freedom"? I want them to admit we AREN'T getting the healthcare the "best nation in the world" should be providing for ALL of its citizens.

Do they think that denying rights to certain Americans, based up who they love and what they do with another consenting adult in a bedroom, can be called AMERICAN VALUES in any way, shape or form? I want them to step into reality and apologize for denying rights to other Americans.

Do you honestly believe that anyone who thinks the way I've described in the 5 preceding paragraphs will listen to your nice, civil words and suddenly have some kind of epiphany? Do you think they'll be "moved" to treat liberals and Democrats in a similar, civil and respectful manner? If you do I have to ask WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?????

These conservatives post heinous SHIT all over the 'net and need to be treated like the vile accidents of protoplasmic life-forms that they are. If not for sheer luck of the birthing location they wouldn't even be Americans - they obviously don't have the qualities you'd want in a real American (namely the ability to treat other Americans with full rights and the ability to figure out, using logic and cause-and-effect observations, what helps our society and what doesn't work FROM THE SHEER WEIGHT OF EVIDENCE). Most of them would gladly place you in prison for being a "liberal" with as much moral reflection and soul searching as they would stuff another McNugget in their sputtering cake holes. Every time an asshole like that speaks it is YOUR DUTY as a liberal to strike back and strike back hard using the words and logic you know you love. Your comment to them should KNOCK THEIR FUCKING TEETH down their ignorant throats. Your reply should leave absolutely no room for doubt that, unless they can apologize and admit what they have done to this country, that thier comments have ZERO credibility and they have absolutely NO moral or ethical stance to lecture anyone, anywhere, at any time over anything concerning  the US economy or way of life. Make the AFRAID to mention or discuss their frankly unAmerican and sickeningly idiotic ideas. They'd gleefully do the same to you - AND THEY HAVE BEEN DOING SO FOR YEARS WITH TOTAL DISREGARD FOR PUSH BACK.

It's time to stop the ignorant bulldozer of conservative rhetoric. It's time to treat conservatives posting their crap on the net like the total crapsickle douchbags that they are. It's time to make sure that Americans treat their "viewpoints" like the garbage they are. Be civil? Be respectful? That only encourages more of their assholeish behavior. This is one liberal that's done with that.
