The list of things that sicken me gets longer every day. Lawyers. Bigots. Republicans. Scumsucking Pigs. Conservatives. Koch Brothers. Anti-Americans. Tea Baggers. Puss-filled boils. (I guess the last three could have been summed up by just listing "Allen West"). The list is several dozen items long. Lately another item has made its way onto that list, one I never would have guessed.
Employers firing Employees who support Pres. Obama.
I could go on an on about this behavior, and why I think it's terrible, but my fans don't need it and the filth known as conservative Republican America won't listen anyway. So instead of verbally lashing them, I want to attack these employers on a purely economic level. Now we know there are many employers and managers who do things like this (and before I am accused of being one sided I'll state right now that any liberal business owner firing people who voted Romney I hold in the same high regard). I know I don't want to give that business any of my money. But how could I, and individual off the street, know if the manager or business owner is one of these kind?
Turns out it's easy. You use the same method that hobos used in the early rail-road hopping era of America (and are still in use today). You mark the business with a sign that looks inconspicuous, like a stain or random mark, possibly a doodle a bit of tiny graffiti located in a place where visitors will be likely to see, especially if they are looking. Hobos would leave these marks on fence posts, rocks, trees, rails, walls, and anywhere else where they think they might last long enough for the next 'bo to find (and refresh or change upon leaving). The intent was to transfer information about that location, from mundane things like "angry dog" to issues like "police active". On mark in particular caught my eye. It's the mark for "fear", used in places where a transient would not want to be caught alone or in a vulnerable position, like your money is in a vulnerable position when a tea bagger, Obama hating business owner wants it.

It's simple. Two identical rectangles, one overlapping the other.
Employees might place this symbol somewhere near the cash register. You could draw it on the back of your hand and casually display it throughout the day. It might be marked in the paint of a counter, for instance, or outlined in ketchup on a counter for example.
Patrons might be inclined to use the image too. An example of use would be seeing it on the outer side of the door, or on the bathroom wall, for instance, if that is what you might want to do. I don't suggest doing anything of course, especially vandalizing a persons property. But I am not you.
Knowledge is power. If business owners want to fire employees for a disagreement over politics I think the public should know that. Make sure where you spend your money, my vermin.
