It was feared by many that the Huffington Post, once a haven for liberals and progressives to discuss and manage headlines and topics of the day with fairness and civility, would change after Arriana sold it to AOL for some cool cool cash. That fear has now come true. With every passing day the headlines and topics at HP have become more childish, more tacky, more sensational and more right wing. Soon the HP site will be nothing like it was, and will be more like Foxnationdotcom, where filthy and hatred reigns king among the willfully ignorant audience. I'm not gonna wait for the slow flush of Huffington Post. It's final tone and destination is clear. I'm gonna help them along. Here you'll find a selection of headlines I"ve fixed for the new AOL owners, making them what they AOL assholes really want. You can send me a check any time, AOL dicks. All material here is used under the doctrine of "fair use". NOTE: What Is Fair Use? In its most general sense, a fair use is any copying of copyrighted material done for a limited and “transformative” purpose, such as to comment upon, criticize, or parody a copyrighted work. Such uses can be done without permission from the copyright owner. In other words, fair use is a defense against a claim of copyright infringement. If your use qualifies as a fair use, then it would not be considered an illegal infringement. From Stanford Univ. Libraries |
